It is that time of the year again. Kids are back in school and the holidays will be here before we know it. Now is the time to start scheduling your fall family portraits. I just love photographing large families. During these sessions you can always see how they live, love and laugh together as a family.

Family life is one of the biggest treasures of my life and I really love capturing those special moments for other families too.

I usually always post images from senior session, but I thought I would change it up a bit and post a senior album I did recently. Album are so fun and really allow you to have a lot of different images and looks.

Aren’t baby boys just the sweetest? I think so and this little guy was no exception. He was so bright eyed and alert. He was checking things out the whole time. A few images look like he was a sleep, but no he was just tricking us. we had to act fast to capture the images with his eyes closed.

I have the best job…I get to play with precious little babies and when they are hungry or wet I can hand them back to mom!

Baby “C” was so laid back it made me laugh. I think he was one of the best babies I have ever photographed. No accidents (maybe 1?), no crying…just sleeping.

It official…the first week of school has past and everybody is getting into the new school year groove. This year for the first time Jennifer Hitt Photography is offering School Portraits at a special price.

Isn’t she just the most adorable thing? Little Miss H was the sweetest. She didn’t care what we did, she just wanted to sleep. I am sure that will change soon. I know mom is ready for her to be awake during the day and to sleep at night!

I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing “young adults” and their mom for family portraits this summer. I really had fun getting to know them and catching a glimpse into the wonderful relationship this family has. I hope I am as lucky as their mom to have amazing children that have grown into beautiful teenagers and young adults on the inside and out. Take a look at some of the images we captured on a hot summer day as we had to avoid the sprinklers that kept coming on during our session. They were such good sports and no one got wet, although we had a couple of close calls!
